Valentine Card Holders
We had so much fun making
our Valentine Card Holders. We learned about reading and following a set of written
directions, gathering necessary materials, and understanding what has to be done
before starting a project. We also learned about teamwork, lending a helping
hand to our neighbor when they were stuck on a step, and responsibility for
cleaning up our mess when we were done with our project. The biggest charge
of all was the sense of accomplishment gained when the project was
completed. Now all we need are the Valentines!

Valentine's
Day
Back by popular demand
was a Valentine's Day Sledding Party. The children had so much fun with the
first sledding party that they voted to have another on Valentine's Day.
What a great day it was! The weather was perfect, we had enough snow, and
conditions were such that we welcomed a new "temporary" member to our class.
