Pictures are Worth a Thousand Words

What is the best shape for a clay boat that will float and hold weight? We used our muscles to work with some very stubborn plasticine clay to build a clay boat that did both.

 

What other materials can boats be constructed from? We had some fun with aluminum foil to see how a boat could be constructed to float and hold weight.
