Asia is made up of many, many different countries and regions. We are going to visit the country of China (yellow on the map below). |
| The United States of America (our country) is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the east coast, and the Pacific Ocean on the west coast. The United States of America (our country) consists of 50 states. |
China (the country I am visiting) consists of 34 provinces. We will be visiting 3 provinces during our journey. Those provinces are Hebei Province, Wuhan Province, and Guangdong Province. |

We live in the state of New York. It is located on the eastern part of the United States of America (our country). New York is bordered by the country of Canada, to the north, the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the south, the states of Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut to the east, as well as the Atlantic Ocean on the east coast. |
Hebei Province is bordered by other provinces of China, as well as the Pacific Ocean to the east. Wuhan Province has many different provinces bordering it. Guandong Province has many different provinces bordering it. It is also bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the south. |
