Wuhan is the capital city of Hubei Province and is the most populous city in central China. The population is 7.81 million people! The third longest river in the world, the Yangtze River, runs through Wuhan. It has a subtropical humid monsoon climate, with  four seasons of cold and dry winters, hot and humid summers, and plenty of sunshine.

When our guide picked us up at the airport it was 85 degrees out and raining. We were noting how hot and humid it was when she commented that she dressed her 6 year old daughter in long pants and shirt because of the chilly weather that day! She also told us that she takes her daughter to her in-laws house when she works. It is the husband's parents who care for the children.

Each night when our bed was turned down this would be put on our pillow with a piece of chocolate. Note the phrasing of what is on the holder!
