Sectional Information
November 1st, 2008
The boys soccer team defeated Geneseo by the score of 5-1.
The Mules got off on the right foot and continued to pressure Geneseo defense
all afternoon. R. Fisher recorded a hat trick to lead the Mules to another
sectional title. E. Vitale and C. Sherman each added a goal in the
victory. K. Dates made two saves to earn the victory. E. Vitale was
rewarded for his efforts by being named MVP of the Sectional Finals. The
Mules next play on Wednesday November 5th, @ Marion at 6:00pm against Honeoye.
October 28th, 2008
On a cold windy rainy night the boys took care of
business against Kendall. The Mules outshot Kendall 22-5 but were only
able to net one goal. However that one goal by E. Vitale was enough as the
Mules advanced 1-0. The Mules will next play on Saturday November 1st, at
Honeoye Falls-Lima at 12:00pm against Geneseo
October 25th, 2008
The boys soccer team played host to York in the
quarterfinals of the sectional tournament. On a day that the rain never seemed
to let up neither did the Mules attack. E. Vitale converted two first half
goals to give the Mules a 2-1 lead at halftime. In the second half the Mules
came alive scoring 4 goals. C. Sherman, R. Gould, A. Keeling, B. Vanderbush
contributed with second half goals. K. Dates recorded three saves to secure the
6-1 win. The Mules will play Kendall on Tuesday and if they win they will play
in the sectional finals on Saturday November 1st. Both sites are To
Be Determined.
October 17th, 2008
The boys team celebrated Senior Night against Byron
Bergen in a contest of two of the premier teams in Section Five. Two seniors
led the way scoring a goal each as the Mules ended their regular season with a
2-0 victory. C. Sherman and R. Fisher were the goal scorers. K. Dates and R.
Pudlowski combined for 1 save and the shut out.
October 15th, 2008
The boys team travelled to Gananda for their final road
league game of the year. R. Fisher scored the first goal of the game followed
by E. Vitale netting the final two goals as the Mules came away with a 3-0
victory.
October 13th, 2008
The boys soccer team finished in 2nd place
after dropped a hard fought game to host Marcellus in the finals of a
tournament. E. Vitale scored the lone Mule goal. K. Dates made 4 saves to keep
the Mules in the game.
October 11th, 2008
The boys soccer team travelled to Marcellus to compete in
a tough end of the season tournament. The boys played class A school Fulton and
came away with a 4-2 victory. C. Sherman scored two goals to lead the Mules,
also R. Fisher and C. Ginther each added one goal for the win. This win
advanced the boys to the finals against host Marcellus on Monday.
October 8th, 2008
The boys soccer team got back on track beating East
Rochester 1-0. E. Vitale scored the lone goal as the Mules clinched the league
title with the victory. K. Dates earned the shut out in goal.
October 6th, 2008
The boys travelled to North Rose-Wolcott and lost their
first league game of the year 2-0 to the host team.
October 4th, 2008
The boys soccer team played host to a mid season showdown
between two of the top small school teams in New York State. Wheatland Chili
came in ranked 2nd in class D, while Red Creek was ranked 2nd
in class C. The Mules jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first ten minutes on
goals from T. Gregg, and E.Vitale before Wheatland Chili got on the board before
halftime. The Mules continued their attack in the second half scoring 3 more
goals by T.Gregg, C. Ginther, and S. Deferio to finish the game with a 5-1
victory. The Mules current record is 11-1 overall and the Mules are still
currently ranked 2nd in the state in class C.
October 2nd, 2008
The boys soccer team continued a successful week by
beating host Williamson 5-2. E. Vitale scored two more goals, and R. Fisher, C.
Ginther, and A. Losurdo each added one goal for the Mules. K. Dates made 8
saves for the win.
September 30th, 2008
The boys hosted Marion in the pouring rain and came out
with another decisive victory 5-0. R. Fisher recorded 3 goals, T. Gregg and E.
Vitale each added one goal, K. Dates recorded 4 saves to earn the shut out
victory.
September 29th, 2008
The boys soccer team started off a long week with a road
victory over Sodus. E. Vitale led the way with 2 first half goals and the Mules
jumped out to a 4-1 halftime lead, and a 5-1 victory. A. Keeling, R. Fisher and
B. Vanderbush were the other goal scorers, K. Dates made 5 saves to earn the
win.
September 24th, 2008
The boys soccer team continued to roll with another big
win over Gananda. The Mules hit the mark five times to post a 5-0 final score.
Goal scorers for the Mules were E. Vitale (2 goals), T. Gregg (2 goals), and C.
Ginther. K. Dates made 7 saves for the shutout.
September 22nd, 2008
The boys soccer team continued their winning ways against
Sodus. The Mules scored 4 first half goals and ended with a 5-1 victory.
Scoring for the Mules were B. Vanderbush, C. Ginther, E. Vitale, R. Fisher and
S. Bradley. K. Dates made 8 saves in the win.
September 19th, 2008 (Homecoming)
The boys team started off strong and kept the pressure up to
secure a 3-1 victory over league powerhouse East Rochester. R. Fisher recorded
a hat trick scoring all three Red Creek goals. K. Dates made 7 saves to earn
the win.
September 16th, 2008
The boys soccer team struggled with league rival North
Rose-Wolcott before R. Adam netted the game winner. K. Dates had 11 saves for
the Mules to preserve the shutout.
September 12th,
2008
The Boys soccer team put on a strong performance beating a
solid Williamson squad 4-0. Goals were scored by C. Sherman, R. Cunningham, E.
Vitale, and T. Knox. K. Dates recorded 6 saves to preserve the shutout.
September 10th, 2008
The boys team travelled to Marion and bested the hosts
3-1. Scoring for the Mules were C. Sherman, R. Adam, and E. Vitale, T. Gregg
also posted 2 assists.
September 3rd, 2008
Last night the boys soccer team stormed back to earn a hard
fought victory over Dr. Freddie Thomas from Rochester by a score of 5-3.
Scoring goals for the Mules were R. Cunningham, A. Losurdo, T. Gregg, and E.
Vitale (twice). The next boys game will be 9/10 @ Marion.
