Varsity Record (W-L-T) Head Coach: Rich Pitts Assistant Coach: Junior Varsity Head Coach: Junior High Head Coach: David Benwell MAY 5, 2008 The Lady Rams picked up their first win of the season, winning in the bottom of the 7th inning with two outs. Brittany Y. singled, then stole 2nd base. Kacie B. hit a walk off double to score the winning run. Jena L., Caitlin C., and Holly N.all had two hits in the game. The team played great defense the whole game and Jena L. picked up the win off the mound with six strikeouts. APRIL 25, 2008 The softball team dropped a hard fought game to Marion 11-3. Kacie B. stayed hot with the bat going 2-4 with a double and a triple. APRIL 22, 2008 The Rams fell victim to a tough East Rochester team falling 9-0. Tasha P.pitched a no-hitter for visiting ER. Kacie B. pitched a complete game walking three and striking out three, but the Lady Rams had a tough day at the plate. APRIL 10, 2008 The Lady Rams took the early lead scoring four runs early, but the Spartans scored three runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to take the lead, downing the Rams 6-4. The team played their best defensive game so far this year. Jena L. pitched well only walking three and giving up five hits. Kacie B. had a triple. APRIL 9, 2008 The softball team fell to North Rose-Wolcott. Holly N. led team going 2-4 at plate with a double and a triple. APRIL 7, 2008 The softball team dropped their first game of the season losing 16-9 to Clyde Savannah. Kacie B. went 4-5 at the plate with 3 doubles, while Brittany Y. hit a triple for the Rams.
