Welcome to the Red Creek Special Education Department


Special Education Department Oversees the Following Areas:

  • Individualized Educational Plans: Early Intervention Services (children from 2.5 until Kindergarten enrollment)
  • Individualized Educational Plans: K-12
  • Individualized Educational Plans: School to Work Transition
  • 504 Plans
  • Psychological Services
  • Speech Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physical Therapy
  • Vision Services
  • Teacher of the Deaf Services
  • Homeschooling
  • Homeless Liaison

 

If you suspect your child may have learning disability, please contact your child's building principal. In response to your concerns, your building principal will hold a Response to Intervention Team meeting to determine if additional services are available in the general education program prior to Special Education testing. Response to Intervention Teams are made up of school administration, faculty and staff.


Please also feel free to contact the school psychologist assigned to your child's building to discuss your concerns.
