Physical Education Excuses
All students in K-12 must attend and participate in a physical education (PE) program.
Physical Education is a required, credit bearing high school course.
A written, physician's statement is required to excuse a student from physical education class.
The school nurse and/or a parent/guardian may excuse the student from physical education class for one day only.
If a student is excused from physical education class, they will also be excused from any sport that they are involved in for that time period.
