Five Red Creek athletes along with Coach Briggs participated in a Leadership Summit at SUNY Geneseo, alongside other Section V schools. It was an invaluable experience for all participants, as they connected with like-minded individuals and gained insights into the importance of being a well-rounded athlete. They had the opportunity to exchange ideas and practices that foster positive team culture. The summit emphasized that while winning and losing are part of the game, the life lessons learned through athletics are what truly matter. A team with a thriving, positive culture will always outweigh the focus on wins and losses. Participants also explored the power of social media and how it can be an influential tool when used responsibly. Ultimately, you alone control how you use your platform—your posts have the potential to shape your future or jeopardize it. It's up to you, so take a moment to think before you hit "post!"
