Registration of New Students

We would like to make your transition to the Red Creek School District as smooth as possible. To ease this process, we will need you to provide accurate information and documentation in a timely manner.

Registration at Red Creek can be handled at the main office of any of the building levels. You may come to the office and complete the registration packet on site or pick up the packet and take it home to complete. The registration packet is also available on this website for your convenience.

In addition to completing the registration packet you will need to provide the following:

  • Birth Certificate or other proof of age (passport, record of baptism, etc.)
  • Proof of residency – utility bill, phone bill, official documents, etc.
  • Previous school contact information including name, address, and phone number
  • Health information – physician’s name, date of last physical, and immunization records
  • Custody papers if applicable

The student’s previous academic records will be requested by the appropriate guidance department upon completion of the registration process. Please keep in mind that we cannot move forward until these records and the above documentation are received.

Once all records are obtained, if your child is in the middle school or high school, you will receive a phone call from the Guidance Office to set up a meeting with a counselor to complete the student’s schedule and take a tour of the building. At this appointment the counselor will let you know your child’s actual start date and transportation information. If your child is in the elementary school, you will receive a call from the building secretary with information on your child’s actual start date, classroom assignment, and transportation information.

For questions regarding registration, please contact our registrar Joan Roden at (315) 754-2045 or email at Joan.Roden@rccsd.org. Her office is located through the main office of the high school.

Accurate information, complete documentation, and cooperation from previous schools will ensure the efficiency of the registration process. If during any phase of the process you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

For questions regarding homelessness, please contact our McKinney-Vento liaison Amanda Ventura at (315) 754-2045 or email amanda.ventura@rccsd.org. For more information regarding the McKinney-Vento Act, click here

We look forward to welcoming you to the Red Creek School District.
