Class of 2027 Serves 425 Meals at Junior Supper

On Thursday, November 6th, the Red Creek High School cafeteria was full of conversation and delicious food as the Class of 2027 hosted the annual Junior Supper and served 425 meals to the community.

Guests were greeted by members of the Junior Class when they arrived, then were either shown to their table or to the to-go area, where other students brought them their meals. Tables were set with placemats, centerpieces, and other seasonal decorations. Students waited on their assigned tables, taking orders, answering questions, and bringing their drinks and food. When guests were done eating, students cleared the table and ensured it was cleaned and properly set for the next guests.

The Thanksgiving-inspired meal included turkey, gravy, potatoes, squash, stuffing, cranberries, and a dinner roll. Pumpkin and apple pie slices were offered as desserts.

In the high school foyer, attendees had the opportunity to bid on one of the baskets from local businesses and families as part of the silent auction. Red Creek High School Counselor and Junior Class advisor Amber Blasko expressed her gratitude for all who donated a basket and contributed to a successful evening.

“This is the biggest fundraiser for the Junior Class, and it’s something everyone looks forward to each year,” said Blasko. "We are incredibly grateful to our generous families, students, and local businesses who donated nearly all of the food served to our guests and volunteered their time. We truly could not do this without them. Our students worked hard to make this event memorable for friends, families, and community members, and we are so thankful to our community for the amazing support!”
