Photography Student Wins Award

On Saturday March 22nd, Red Creek junior Aurora F. was honored with The Bill White Arts Education Award at the Image City 2025 Through the Student Lens Exhibit In Rochester. Aurora created a beautiful photograph of her musical instrument utilizing Bokeh (out-of-focus areas of a photographic image). Aurora was awarded $100 by the Empire Realty Group, this award honors the legacy of Bill White, a beloved music teacher whose passion for the arts in education inspired generations of students. Mr. White believed that creativity, expression and artistic exploration were essential to a well-rounded education, and he dedicated his career to fostering a love of music and the arts in young minds. Through this recognition, Empire Realty Group proudly supports the Image City 2025 Through the Student Lens Exhibit, ensuring that Mr. White’s legacy continues to encourage creativity, expression and lifelong appreciation for the arts in schools and communities.
