Red Creek Celebrates Student Talent at District Concert and Art Show
On Thursday, March 19th, Red Creek Central School District highlighted student creativity and achievement at its annual district concert and art show, an evening celebrating the artistic and musical talents of students across all buildings.
The lively art show showcased the imagination and talent of elementary, middle and high school students across a wide range of mediums. From expressive paintings and detailed drawings to innovative digital media, each piece reflected a unique creative voice. Handcrafted ceramics, imaginative papier-mâché sculptures, and delicate glasswork added dimension and texture, while powerful photography captured moments through fresh perspectives. Together, the exhibition highlighted the skill, curiosity, and artistic growth of young creators, offering an inspiring glimpse into the next generation of artists.
At the same time, the district concert filled the auditorium with performances from elementary, middle and high school musicians in celebration of Music in Our Schools Month. Since 2006, the Red Creek Music Department has presented students in grades four through 12 in their performing ensembles at this annual event. Performing groups included the Jazz Band, Cuyler Chorus, Middle School Concert Band, Select Choir, Beginning Band, High School Chorus, Stage Band, Continuing Band, Chamber Choir, High School Band, and the Middle School Chorus. The concert concluded with a finale performance of “My Country ’Tis of Thee.”
The district is proud to recognize the hard work and creativity of its talented Rams, along with the dedication of the teachers and families who support them.
