Red Creek CSD Senior Honored at Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Superintendent Leadership Awards Ceremony
Red Creek Central School District senior Mckenzie A. was recently recognized for her strong academic achievements, leadership, and dedication to her community at the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Superintendent Awards Ceremony.
To qualify for this honor, students must have a grade point average of 80 or higher at the end of their junior year and demonstrate qualities such as honesty, compassion, perseverance, responsibility, kindness, resiliency, and industriousness. Recipients are also recognized for placing others’ needs before their own through service to their school, family, and community.
Mckenzie was one of 25 students in the region selected for the award. She is pictured below with Board of Education President Kate Madigan, her parents, Scott and Jessica, and Superintendent of Schools Matthew VanOrman.
“Throughout her time at Red Creek, Mckenzie has shown the character and determination that this award celebrates,” said VanOrman. “She has made a positive impact on those around her, and we are proud to see her recognized among students across the region.”
