Red Creek PTO Spreads Holiday Cheer with Gifts for Every Student

Ahead of holiday recess, the Red Creek Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) ensured that every student in the district received a gift on Friday, December 19.

The Red Creek PTO typically provides a district-wide gift for students, ranging in past years from candy canes to books and stuffed animals. This year, every student received a board game, made possible due to successful fundraisers throughout the school year.

Red Creek PTO President Angelina Breen explained that the initiative extends beyond purchasing the gifts and relies heavily on community support.

“We are lucky enough to have wonderful volunteers who take time out of their day to help wrap the gifts,” she said. “Some have even spent a few days in a row volunteering for this event!”

The Red Creek PTO serves as a support system for students, families, and the school district by providing educational trips, activities, supplies, books and additional resources for those in need. As a nonprofit organization supported entirely through fundraising, the Red Creek PTO extends its appreciation to the parents and students who participate in and support its fundraising efforts throughout the year.
